If someone appears to be repeatedly personal, lean towards patience as they might not mean offense. If you are sure, however, then do not deepen the problem by being negative; instead, simply place them on ignore by clicking the unhappy yellow face to the right of their name.

it seems likely the Justice Department decided the charge might get tossed or overturned at some point anyway and as long as the target participated in a "diversionary program", it didn't merit more prosecutorial time being spent. - WTH

LOL, when the DOJ is after Trump, J6 grandmothers, or all the way down to parents at school board meetings, there seem to be infinite resources available to pursue those matters. But they are duty bound to be frugal when the target is a liberal. Some might conclude there is two tiered system of justice.
