So far I've watched the first two minutes of the video and Jeffries has already told 3 very blatant lies:

He lied twice when he said, then repeated, that "affordable care act subsidies will expire on December 31". FALSE. The ENHANCED Covid era subsidies will expire if nothing is done; the original subsidies will remain in place and are permanent.

Why lie about the core issue at stake? Because Jeffries doesn't want to admit that the subsidies that are set to expire are the ones for wealthier people.

Lie #3: That "tens of millions" of people will see their health care premiums increase by "thousands" of dollars. Also FALSE (unless perhaps he is talking about annual premiums, but he didn't make that clear).

I will watch the rest of it later but this shows what a dishonest, poor communicator Jeffries is.


You CAN'T continue to LIE about what it is you say you are fighting for and expect to be taken seriously.

That's why Jeffries is not taken seriously by either the Republicans or his own party.
