Umm: Why does the GOP want to give voters the chance to see her in that role?

Well, for starters 1.) they can then hang the border crisis officially around her neck (and Gaza and any other issues they choose); 2.) they're hoping she'll make a campaign ending blunder as president and self-destruct; 3.) she would be way too busy in her new role as president to be out on the campaign trail much at all; and 4.) it's likely the media would put every move she makes under a hyper-critical microscope and try to pick her to pieces.
