Correction it’s three felony charges. However, I must admit Hunter raises a few legitimate issues. Money spent at topless clubs and on woman with extraordinary, talent, should be tax deductible 😇😇 this should be a non partisan agreement.

If I heard that correctly there was 7 million in income and 1.5 million in taxes. That's 21% in taxes. What's the rate Trump paid during the same period?

Yep, he's in trouble. And he absolutely deserves it, if indeed he committed the tax crimes he's accused of.

I hope so. Turning it into a witch hunt will not be a victory for either side,
Just more division for America.

I don't get all this fuss about Hunter? He's a nobody. He's not POTUS. He's not Chief of Staff. He's some dork who -allegedly- did some shady things. Is it just that the right has nothing to go after Joe for, so they're hoping that he picks up some shrapnel from the grenade aimed at his son?
And before anyone says it, no...I don't give a crap about Trump's kids, either.
So long as there isn't interference in any investigations or prosecutions, or special treatment, it's not my concern.
Joe and Don ARE my concern, because they're politically active (present and former POTUS, respectively; and likely future candidates).

Serious crime for sure. But lets not forget our totally unbiased DOJ, after letting the statute of limitations expire on some crimes, was perfectly willing to sweep all of rest of this away under a plea agreement. But then a pesky judge asked too many questions and the sweetheart deal was exposed.
Tell me again there is no two tier system of justice. Now maybe that is just the way it is, the rich and well connected are just going to get better deals. That doesn't mean I have to like it. But what I really don't like being lectured is there no two tier system in the first place.

Has anyone lectured to you that the rich and well connected aren't going to get better deals in the criminal justice system?
I think your frustration might simply stem from using a term like "two tier system of justice," without being precise by whether you mean a belief that the rich are unfairly advantaged in criminal prosecutions or whether you mean Democrats are unfairly advantaged in criminal prosecutions. I don't think anyone would disagree with the former, but many folks would contest the latter point.

No, no, no. The judge determined that both sides were not on the same page on the deal. That Hunter's attorneys thought he would be immune on more than the prosecution thought he would be immune.
Then DOJ gave it to someone independent and three charges were brought. The read from people who researched or know the area was he was actually being charged with much more than what the normal person would have been charged. So this may be a third tier Mike, getting more charges because you're the President's son and the light is shining on you. All I would ask is that he be treated fairly.

Do you not count team Javanka as his "kids?"
You should. The $2 billion investment Jared got from the murderous Saudi's would have never happened were it not for his exalted position in Trump's admin.
Even if it's not technically illegal, the ethics of it stink to high heaven.

Jared is not his "kids", and did hold an official title in the administration. So, yes, I count him.
It is interesting that his position was created for him, and was abolished when Trump left office. As an official title, it never existed before, and does not exist now.
IMHO, his position was a way to funnel money to him from the federal coffers. Plus his questionable ethics in getting investments (as you mentioned). To my knowledge he is not being investigated, but I don't think he's getting any special consideration either (i.e. by the DOJ). So if they have nothing to go after him about, so be it.
I wouldn't want him getting anywhere near a government position ever again.

Ethics don't apply to those in the MAGA world.

Hunter Biden makes a statement in this video, saying "And I'm here today to acknowledge that I've made mistakes in my life, and wasted opportunities and privileges I was afforded. For that, I am responsible. For that, I am accountable. And for that, I am making amends.
