'Very little has been developed related to who might be culpable for mishandling the documents,' an FBI official wroteBut of course!
EXCLUSIVE: The FBI did not believe it had probable cause to raid President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in 2022, but moved forward amid pressure from the Biden Justice Department, with an official saying he didn’t "give a damn about the optics" of the search, newly declassified documents reviewed by Fox News Digital reveal.
Fox News Digital reviewed emails between FBI and Justice Department officials in the months leading up to the August 2022 raid of Mar-a-Lago, with FBI officials expressing concerns about a lack of probable cause to execute the search warrant on the then-former president's residence in Palm Beach, Florida. LOL!

...say they didn't think they had probable cause:Why is that relevant?
They
got the search warrant. Which means that even if that individual person (or several persons) weren't sure they had probable cause, when they went to the judge to get the warrant he determined that there
was probable cause.
It's worth noting that the Trump legal team also challenged whether the warrant was supported by probable cause during the prosecution, and Judge Cannon rejected their arguments.

Keep in mind the article was from Fox Noise. If not entirely fabricated, in the service of their God and Savior Trump, they probably scratched around until they found an FBI agent who was willing to validate their spin, in the service of his God and Savior Trump.

You mean besides the fact that it nukes this notion of non-political prosecutions and a totally independent DOJ during the Biden administration? Absolutely nothing.

How does it do that? DOJ is the legal arm of the government. The FBI is part of the DOJ. FBI had other DOJ lawyers review if the evidence supported getting a warrant, DOJ said it did (even though there were individuals who thought it might not), and they were proven to be correct. The warrant was issued, and that decision was later upheld by Cannon. It was totally appropriate, and the individual agents' misgivings were unsupported.

That is a nutty reading of it. Once again you are showing a lack of reading comprehension. Did you even read Albaby's post? It sure doesn't sound like it.
You do realize that the opinion of one FBI agent doesn't determine if there was probable cause or not? That is the duty of a judge. Multiple judges in fact as even Cannon agreed there was probable cause.

Just reading this part - there are top secret documents there, so go get them, they aren't supposed to be there. Who mishandled the documents is another story. Get the documents back.

I'm guessing the reason that some of the FBI agents did not believe there was probable cause for the Mar a Lago raid is because previously, when the agents were at Mar a Lago, they had told Trump it was acceptable for him to keep whatever documents were in his possession, as long as he kept them properly secured, until the dispute with the National Archives (note: that's a civil dispute not a criminal dispute) as to proper disposition of the documents had been resolved.
Even if the agents who had given Trump permission to retain the documents were legally incorrect to do so, Trump's good faith reliance on those representations negates any mens rea.
A warrant requires probable cause that evidence of a crime might be located in the place searched with reasonable specificity as to the location and the nature of the evidence sought.
However, it is not a crime to retain documents with the express permission of the federal agents who are specifically in charge of the custody of those documents, which Trump had.
Without looking at the warrant application one cannot know whether the information provided to Judge Cannon in the affidavit(s) advised the court that Trump had been given permission to retain the documents.

Well, perhaps the agents who had "misgivings" statements of facts were conveniently left out of the affidavits for the warrant that were presented to Judge Cannon.

The Mar-a-Lago raid was nonsense for the simple reason that as President, Trump has wide latitude on what is classified and what is not classified.
Hillary! Clinton never was President, and thus had no declassifying authority. Ditto Senator and Vice President Biden (but President Biden did).
