although stem-careered, with a very small touch of compsci job garnered knowledge, i consider myself a generalist here.
as such, i try to actively fight my bias.
nonetheless, after reading a few dozen articles on the topic, i lean towards the high dispersity on types of commercial software makes the business case non-generalizable.

as for the technocrat articles, the half i understand, there are no reliable predictions (or maybe not even possible).
e.g.,
if an empowered agent-to-agent system exhibits significant emergent behavior properties, what is the marketplace impact?
(given that emergent behavior is non-predictable and futile to guardrail)
