An Independent IG Corp is an idea so good, I hope it makes it way onto Trumps radar and gets implemented. Even hire back any of the 17 that fit in with the new paradigm.

I reiterate my support for Independent IG's but that 17 is not nearly enough. My suggestion is expand to 100 to start with and add more as needed. Building on Dopes idea, I think the IG Corp would be an excellent home for a permanent DOGE team, staffed with savvy, energetic young people; experts who know how to use AI to quickly correlate and analyze vast amounts of data. DOGE can continuously monitor what's going, and provide leads and support for further investigation by the IG's.

Now there would be an organization that really would pay for itself. Audits should become routine and embraced by the departments being audited. Knowing that an audit will roll around every year or two will result in the much of nonsense we are seeing now, not being attempted in the first place.

Being frugal with Taxpayer money is a virtue. DOGE, it's good for what ails your country!
