Mine took 4-5 hours, because I had to look up and understand what was happening with my 1095A. About $1770 in ACA credit was taken back, and I had to adjust to that. There was also another odd thing I had to look up - forgot what it is right now. I expected a refund but paid $85.

As usual mine was an extension and this time, I actually filed late, beyond the extension date but we figured -- I owe NOTHING and will be getting money back so there won't be interest etc.

I was going to do taxes this week, but I just got two more tax forms (1099) this weekend. I suspect that's it, but I usually wait a few days after the last form received before starting. Once I finished my taxes, filed, and a week later I had to file an amended return because I got a corrected 1099. I'll probably wait until March (next week).
