Congress would be much less partisan, and much less subject to pressure on individual members to always vote the party line if every vote was anonymous. Is there any reason that would be a bad idea?

I like it overall, but there is an argument about accountability. Constituents would not know if their reps voted along the lines that they would want (which is not a bad thing in itself in a way, but, again accountability to their voters).
