RMDs are based on the balance in the account as if the beginning of the year. So the recent drops in the market will not affect 2025 RMDs.

I was not clear, sorry. I meant the RMD that will be paid in 2026 based on the value of the 401k, 403b, or whatever on 12/31/25.
