Yes, but how wild was the trip IAU took? An 8-year dead spot from 9/2012 to 6/2020! If you superimposed a reasonable withdrawal strategy, how would the two compare?

Warren & Charlie have beautifully explained so many times their lack of interest in gold as a long-term investment vs. ongoing productive assets like equities, farmland and good real estate.

Despite the wisdom, many folks still love to invest in those precious metals, especially when they spike up like the last 18 months.
