It seems to me they are very illiquid and hard to find.

Though to be fair, "illiquid and hard to find" is sometimes a good characterization of where to look for mispriced securities. It's hard to outsmart Mr Market if you're hunting in the S&P 500.

If you find a good one, like the TARP warrants, it's often worth the hunt.
