@ciao8: Yes, you catched it perfectly! It愀 when 2 cars work together, with the one in the slipstream pushing the one in front ever so softly so that that one and the one in the slipstream both go faster.

Just to round out your education ... there is also a practice called SIDE DRAFTING. it was discovered in Australian V8 Supercars and is now used in NASCARS.

@Blackswanny: The original Mini Cooper愀 raced together with us, in their own class of course (as did the clearly faster Citroen C1愀). The Mini愀 were faster on the straights, but only marginally so in the corners (with the slowest of them even slowing me down in the corners after passing me on the straights).
