I have posted, some weeks ago, about the last US troops in the Baghdad ruled part of Iraq being moved behind Kurd lines in the north. The US troops in a base in the southeast corner of Syria, moved behind Jordanian lines a couple weeks ago. A week or so back, US troops in a base in northeast Syria were moved behind Kurd lines in northern Iraq.

Meanwhile, the US garrison in Israel has been beefed up.

US Troops to Israel: Strategic Shift in Middle East Defense

Amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the Pentagon deployed a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery and around 100 US soldiers. This deployment marks a significant shift in the already complex geopolitical landscape, influenced by global elections and other mideast wars.

Reported a few hours ago:

US positions F-22 stealth fighters in Israel, puts 'almost any target in Iran at risk'

Eleven U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor stealth fighters have arrived at Israel’s Ovda Air Base in the country’s south, Fox News reported, marking the first-ever operational deployment of American combat aircraft to Israel. The move comes amid a broader U.S. military buildup in the region not seen at this scale in years and as concerns grow over Iran’s nuclear program and missile capabilities.

Yesterday:

USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier set to arrive at Israeli coast today

The USS Gerald R. Ford, the world’s largest aircraft carrier, is set to arrive near Israel’s northern coast today.

US President Donald Trump ordered the carrier strike group to the Middle East this month as part of a massive military buildup while he weighs whether to take military action against Iran.

What do USians think of this adventure?

About half (49%) of Americans somewhat or strongly oppose the U.S. using military force to attack Iran. About one-quarter (27%) support such an attack

A majority (58%) of Republicans support such an attack. Majorities of Democrats (76%) and Independents (54%) oppose

But that would only matter, if there was a "free and fair" election this fall. A reporter asked Fetterman how a war with Iran would benefit his constituents in PA. Fetterman had no answer. He is not up for reelection until 28.

Private Barron on the front lines works.

Only "suckers and losers" will die for Israel's benefit. The ruling elite counts it's profit.

Exact same playbook as #43 used.

Trump advisers scramble to justify possible US military intervention in Iran

Donald Trump’s likely casus belli for an attack on Iran – which would be the largest US intervention since the Iraq war – is fraught with contradictions, and his top advisers have been left to cover for him as the White House makes the case for intervention.

In his State of the Union address this week, Trump alleged that Iran posed a direct threat to the US and that the country was “working to build missiles that will soon reach the United States of America”. But that claim has not been backed up with evidence by the White House or the Pentagon, and US intelligence reports from just last year say that it would take Iran 10 years to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile that could reach the US.

His justification changes week by week.

Interestingly, the BBC TV service, this evening, made it sound like Trump is ready to pull the trigger.

Trump 'not thrilled' with Iran after latest talks on nuclear programme

"I'm not happy with the fact that they're not willing to give us what we have to have. So I'm not thrilled," Trump said in his first comments on negotiations in Geneva that broke up on Thursday without a deal.

While God and Savior Trump appears on the brink of another tantrum, the Omani mediator sounds optimistic.

Iran reportedly makes sweeping nuke pledge in US negotiations

Iran has agreed it will “never ever” pursue nuclear weapons, according to Oman’s top diplomat, who says a U.S.-Iran deal is now “within our reach.”

According to a report in CBS News, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said that negotiators have made “substantial progress” toward curbing Iran’s nuclear program.

“A peace deal is within our reach,” Albusaidi said. He called it a “big achievement” that Iran pledged to “never, ever have … nuclear material that will create a bomb,” CBS News reported Friday.

“There would be zero accumulation, zero stockpiling, and full verification,” Albusaidi added, noting Iran is prepared to grant inspectors from the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency "full access" to nuclear sites.

Thing is, Israeli and USian war mongers want Iran totally crushed, not a refresh of the JCPOA.

Will Donny find a way to TACO? Or is Netanyahu in control?

Or, more likely, Trump is willing to abuse the use of our military in order to wag the dog and distract from his probable guilt as a pedophile.

His justification changes week by week.

There are zero justifications.

Just irrationalizations based on his ever-slipping grip on reality.
