call me mad, but I added to my INTC position this week. Building at lows for the future.
as I have mentioned (possibly here) but def. on the other "Bored" , there is no geostrategic way this compay dies...it either recovers or gets bought out, in which case I will own a better peer company , and I'm fine with that.

What happens when the CEO is booted out with no successor in place? INTC is in portfolio and has been disappointing me for years now. The logic you wrote is the one I have used to keep and even add to my holdings. I question whether this is one of those cases where the logic seems sound, but the translation to reality is wrong.

I still hold hopes for a 2025 recovery on their technical competitiveness and in their fab business, but that feels less likely with this move. I am surprised that INTC is up today as the CEO resignation is announced. Its hard to take decisive action without a CEO and INTC seems to me like it is in a period where decisive action amongst a set of risky directions the company could go (and they are all risky) is a requirement.
