The closing bell panic buying was unusual. Any ideas why?

The broader market did the same thing, especially XLF type financials and insurance companies.


I would assume it has a lot to do with options expiration. That is certainly a big driver for BRK shares since it creates an effective short position in a fairly illiquid stock for a $1 trillion enterprise.


Like I said a while ago - it's y'all and your short calls LOL
