Bigger federal payoffs to muffle much of their screaming--but not enough to get them out of perpetual poverty.

has any sector the predictability of farming?


gop will
- crush farmers from every policy angle (labor, capital)
- preserve a few select niches given enough bribes , ingratiation, stupidity (protect american coffee and bananas!)
- wait until enough family farms go bust that complaints trickle up
- provide deficit-swelling bailouts that the same farmers complain about in every other industry

farmers will
- gladly take every cent of handouts
- vote gop for fiscal conservatism, and fear of trans bathrooms plus having 1 less gun
