While most Democrats are being ostriches, even 52% of independents don't believe the 'Honest Joe' malarkey about the 'poorest man in Congress' anymore.

Among Americans who voted for Biden in the 2020 election, a full 13% have been red-pilled.

They have eyes, and common sense, and somehow the avalanche of incriminating evidence spewing forth from the House Oversight Committee has managed to bypass the gatekeepers of the media and slowly permeate the public consciousness.

Once people with eyes and common sense see the evidence about the influence-peddling racket operated by Joe's son Hunter and brother Jim to make millions of dollars from shady characters in China, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, etc., while Joe was vice president, it is impossible not to grasp the corrupt nature of that business and Joe's role in it.

Yougov didn't find that half the country thinks Joe Biden is corrupt - they found that 45% of the country agreed that "Joe Biden and his family" are corrupt, with that 52% of independents answering yes. It's on page 44 of the poll document. Open question on whether the "and his family," given that Hunter has pled guilty to some fraud charges, might not give you the clearest read on what voters think of Joe Biden. BTW, compare that to the Trump responses - roughly 55% of the country agreed that "Donald Trump and his family" are corrupt, with 55% of independents saying yes.

I initially liked Desantis and still do I guess. Then Ramaswamy caught my attention. He has a positive message and speaks mostly about policy rather than bashing opponents. He approaches problems analytically somewhat that democrat Andy Yang did in 2020 and about the same chance of winning the primary. Example, in the last debate he was the only candidate who spoke about fatherless homes being part of the problem. So for now I am rooting for those two, the rest don't interest me at all.

Which is why the far better choice is Ron DeSantis.

Someone needs to sit down and work with DeSantis, he sank. First, the head bobbing from side to side needs to go, it detracts, so some speech and acting lessons would help. Having that Disney dispute really made him look like an amateur, because Disney outfoxed him. And it looks like Woke is where campaigns go to die.

For Reps, DeSantis is a better choice. If Trump wins the primaries, I suspect he will lose the general because he will unite and motivate Dems to vote against him (again). DeSantis won't have that effect, so he could possibly (maybe) win. But he is trailing so far behind (last I knew), there seems to be little chance he will win the primaries. And that dispute with Disney really hurt him, even among fellow Reps (several of which called him out on it at the time).

If Trump wins the primaries, I suspect he will lose the general because he will unite and motivate Dems to vote against him (again).

Hmmm, a thought I did not consider.
RFK jr seems to be gaining some support from the dem side. I think he is a better
choice than Biden.

A nice choice of republicans to choose from. A couple I like better than others.
