Remember recently when the GOP said they had a witness who would testify against the Biden Crime Family but, golly-gee, he went missing and they couldn't find him?

Turns out the GOP couldn't find him because he fled the United States before he could be arrested.

But he was indicted today by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York in an eight-count Indictment charging GAL LUFT with offenses related to willfully failing to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act ('FARA'), arms trafficking, Iranian sanctions violations, and making false statements to federal agents. LUFT, a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen, was arrested on February 17, 2023, in the Republic of Cyprus based on the charges in the Indictment. LUFT subsequently fled after being released on bail while extradition proceedings were pending and remains a fugitive.

Only the best whistleblowers and witnesses for the GOP if, by "only the best," you mean liars and crooks.

Here's an interesting tidbit from the charges:

As part of this scheme, while serving as the co-director of a Maryland-based non-profit think tank, LUFT agreed to covertly recruit and pay, on behalf of principals based in China, a former high-ranking U.S. Government official ('Individual-1'), including in 2016 while the former official was an adviser to the then-President-elect, to publicly support certain policies with respect to China without LUFT or Individual-1 filing a registration statement as an agent of a foreign principal with the Attorney General of the United States, in violation of FARA.

So Luft recruited one of incoming president Trump's top advisors for China. Any guesses who?

Not right now, I've been looking around, but there's no speculation that I can find. :(

Hacks gonna hack.

The name of the guy he paid? Bill Clinton's CIA director James Woolsey.

Dope1: Bill Clinton's CIA director James Woolsey.

Is that supposed to be a 'gotcha'?

Woolsey famously complained he never met with Clinton one-on-one during his two years as CIA Director: "It wasn't that I had a bad relationship with the president. It just didn't exist." And "Remember the guy who in 1994 crashed his plane onto the White House lawn? That was me trying to get an appointment to see President Clinton."

You were no doubt hoping for some Trump official's name to come up, but sadly for you, the only people really taking orders from China are the ones you're going to be voting for.

BTW bringing up the fact that BC ignored the CIA and pretty much opened the door to 9/11 isn't a great argumentative point.

Dope1: You were no doubt hoping for some Trump official's name to come up...

Is that supposed to be a serious response? Regardless of who Individual-1 turns out to be, one thing is certain: he was a high-ranking member of the Donald Trump campaign. And a Chinese spy Jim Jordan and James Comer recruited for a smear campaign against the Bidens.

And an arms dealer who skipped bail and who Comer praised just last Friday night as 'very credible'.

You guys sure can pick 'em.

Right. Usamah al-Muhajir would comment on Marc Theissen's brilliant argument that fighting terrorists from the air is a failed policy that led to 9/11 but he's dead, killed days ago in a precision air strike by MQ-9 Reapers.

LOL! And not 2 words later your TDS brings you to doing exactly what I said.

BTW. Fang Fang Bang and the Biden crime family say "hello". Plus I don't believe a word Merrick Garland says. If he hasn't nailed half the Biden family on FARA charges then I really don't give a rip what the politicized, weaponized DOJ says: They're frauds.

Your terrorism comment is typical: throw out some factoid that you *think* buttresses your point, but in actuality ignores literally decades of context and the changes in policy that render the point your were trying to make completely meaningless.

Dope1: TDS brings you to doing exactly what I said.

Dude, you're babbling nonsense.

Gal Luft recruited a high-ranking member of the Trump campaign who's named as Individual-1 and you want to Fang Fang us?

Reminder: Swalwell got honey potted and immediately cut ties with Fang in 2015 after receiving a briefing from federal investigators. He was not accused of wrongdoing and cooperated with the FBI. McCarthy cited Swalwell's alleged tie to Fang as justification for removing him from the House Intelligence Committee.

Gee, is McCarthy going to remove Comer and Jordan from their committees for trying to bring a Chinese spy to testify before Congress as a star witness?

Not holding my breath.

But nice attempt at distraction.

Guess it wasn't enough for Team Trump to be in bed with Russia, they had to be in bed with China, too.

You want to know just how stupid these House republicans are? Comer still wants to bring in Luft to testify before his committee as his star witness. You know, the guy who brokered illegal arms deals and lied to the FBI, then fled the country and is on the lam?

Yeah, I'm sure he'll be right over and put his hand on the Bible. He fled the country by mistake.

Dope1: ...but in actuality ignores literally decades of context and the changes in policy...

Decades? You said it was Clinton's fault. But now that's you've explained...

Oh wait.

Dude, you're babbling nonsense.

Yep. It's low grade trolling.

aka, he's 'Flooding the zone with sh!t'. It's not the of the quality of a Limbaugh or Bannon and, unlike the radio and TV pundits who's 'sh!t' is presented rapidly, uninterrupted, unquestioned, is easily refuted/debunked on a message board; ergo, not monetizable.

After a while it stales. Same ol' trollin'.
