Cry louder MAGAts, the Biden economy just keeps on keeping on. Dementia Don can keep on praying for a recession but those prays are going to go unanswered.

"The best part of the blockbuster number is how widespread the hiring has become. It’s broadened into categories such as professional services, scientific and technical services, manufacturing, and though small, a gain in much-needed social assistance workers,” said Robert Frick, corporate economist with Navy Federal Credit Union, in a statement. “This shows a growing labor market reflecting a broad-based economic expansion, and not just recoveries in a few sectors such as healthcare and government.”

-- Total nonfarm payrolls increased by 353,000

-- December numbers were revised upward by 117,000, November upward by 9,000 for a total of 126,000 more new jobs than previously reported

-- The unemployment rate was 5.3% for Black workers, 5.0% for Hispanic workers, 3.4% for white workers, 2.9% for Asian workers, and 6.7% (not seasonally adjusted) for American Indian and Alaska Native workers

-- The unemployment rate held steady at 3.7%

-- Average hourly wages climbed by 0.6% to $34.55 after rising 0.4% in December.

Dark Brandon has now added, what, 15 million new jobs? Wages are rising, minority unemployment is still falling, 800,000 new manufacturing jobs, new roads, bridges, and even internet and electricity in American Indian communities for the first time ever.

It's long past time to dump Dementia Don, cultists.

To be fair, some of those added jobs were just getting back jobs lost during COVID. I don't know how many, off hand, but it is not insignificant.

Still, it's a valid point that Biden is overseeing a significant expansion in employment.

Are we getting new roads and bridges? I thought the infrastructure bill died a few years ago, just as the immigration bill will die now, because you can't give the "other side" any hint of a victory.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law was signed into law by Biden on November 15, 2021.

The U.S. economy has recovered all of what was lost during the pandemic, with real GDP close to what was expected in 2012 (about $28.0 T in 2023 dollars). Real GDP growth is above expectations. The economy is booming.

'Booming' Biden economy forces GOP to shift focus to new 'shiny object'
"the U.S. is literally the best economy in the world... Unemployment under 4% for over 2 years, we haven't had that in 50 years... The level of US real GDP in 2023 even exceeded some pre-pandemic forecasts, including that of the CBO and IMF."
