Yah, I read this and the cutting of training hours in half shows. So after we got money, we cut the training in half to pump out officers and grab em in the finest tradition of every authoritarian state in existence. We are now a 'papers please" state, creating our own Gulag, and as Alexander painted the picture for us - you can be walking down the street, a door opens. you are grabbed and disappeared. You can end up in an archipelago, shipped to different states, countries. I've got a feeling we aren't done with the horror stories too.
But I have to say, I was appalled to find out that cartels were advertising on social media in other countries that they would get you to the border for $30,000. I never want to see either thing, cartels advertising, or our gestapo grabbing and sorting out later, and ICE executions of watchers. We have failed. Reboot.
