How about an "Improve the Shrew" board?
If such a board existed, I would post a suggestion to show the number of unread posts for each board on your favorites list. Maybe I am missing something, it wouldn't be the first time, but I don't see any way to determine if there are any unread posts since my last visit except to open each and every board and look. This is cumbersome and severely limits enjoyment of the site.

This is programmed and when you visit Favourites, a yellow icon appear to the right of boards that have a new post since you last visited the board.

The 'Ticker or Board Name' search box at the bottom of this page also works. i.e. type in 'shrewd' to get a few returns including the desired one.

I see that. A count would be better rather than an on/off indicator, but at least it is something.
