I agree with your post but to be consistent....
Let's take everything Liberals say about Christians, change "Christian" to Muslim....loudly broadcast the new statement and attribute it specifically to a building in France, or a school in Germany, or a Whole Foods in San Fran. Maybe even burn a Quran but make sure the world knows it was some European or Liberal entity doing it.

Pretty sure an EO doesn't overrule a court ruling. It basically says that with "fullest extent permissible". It's not permissible to prosecute, per previous rulings.

Jews have endured pogroms, the holocaust, and the nonstop campaign against Israel, a nation where they can defend themselves. My first flight back to Europe happened to land me in Munich while Black September was slaughtering Jews at the summer olympics. It was my first taste, first hand, of a reality Jews have faced for a long long time.
9/11 and hundreds of attacks by muslims on non-muslims around the world are getting realllly old. Then there's that river to the sea thing and the Hamas attack on Israel a couple years ago. Hamas is rearming and regrouping.

Yeah...I don't think that works. It's not federal. A city ordinance is exactly that: a city ordinance. The federal can't prosecute a city ordinance. Now, the city could do it if it were populated with a bunch of trumpies. The federal would not have jurisdiction.
If a city did prosecute, it would likely end up at the SCOTUS eventually as a free speech issue. Which, as I said before, is probably what they want.

They can prosecute anything they want. The regime might lose in court, and in every appeal, but they would drive the flag burner into bankruptcy from legal expenses.

That is true. Based on a Frontline I saw about the Felon, everyone who knew/knows him says he is a bully. Even in military school, he was a bully. Why would we expect any difference in his governance.
But I don't think the defendant would need counsel. He could just request a bench judgment (or something like that) where the judge rules instantly without an actual trial because the charge is unlawful (e.g. no jurisdiction). That's like 5 minutes in court.
