There may have been some net cash in Pilot, but the figure in the 10-K is this:

"On January 31, 2023, we acquired an additional 41.4% interest in Pilot for approximately $8.2 billion"

Also crazy that he mentioned Pilot had 2022 revenues of $75 Billion or so, although a more normalized level with current diesel prices and a reduced energy trading operation might be $45 Billion. Still, Berkshire's MSR group is about to have quite the revenue jump.
