I don't think that's a good example. I'm onboard with the Intel CEO thing, but not the Coke thing.

Government has, in essence, already chosen the Coke ingredient by the system of subsidies and supports it has in place. Government makes corn cheap and plentiful. Another government program makes sugar expensive and in short supply. If you're a company operating in the US, which sweetener are you going to use? The cheap one, of course.

It would be better if the Felon ended the sugar program (and corn program), rather than just saying "thou shalt not use corn syrup". If he did that, things would return to a more natural balance, and sugar use would be more common.
