This well-written Guardian article struck me as relevant to this board as it highlights the historical linkage between technology-oriented Silicon Valley and what it refers to as 'technofascism', rooted in ultra-conservative white male christianity.

The prominent presence at the recent presidential inauguration of technology execs Zuckerberg, Bezos and Musk, for now perhaps the three richest men in the world, serves to accentuate this connection.
