Trump also complained about the low height of microphone stands at his events and showed how he would work around such issues, bobbing his head up and down in ... an imitation of oral sex.
The comments on Twitter/X were about what you’d expect, although many were too graphic to be posted here:
“Trying to make sure the campaign has a happy ending.”
“These are the book banning folks, right.”
“Evidently, Donald Trump’s final campaign message is ‘Hawk Tuah!’”
“There is something seriously wrong with this person. He’s willing to do or say ANYTHING to get some applause from his sycophantic cult.”
“He finally found something that consents.”
“Tomorrow the press headlines will be: Trump has technical difficulties but gives rousing speech.”

What headlines? Not even mentioned by the NYT, Washington Post, LA Times, or WSJ -- at least not on their front pages.
The media have failed America. In normal times a presidential candidate lusting after another politician being shot in the face would have resulted in a landslide election against him. Today, it is scarcely even mentioned by the media. And pretending to fellate a mic is completely ignored. Pathetic.

Asymmetric media warfare.
Right wing media has no ethical boundaries and spews propaganda.
Traditional media, in their determination to be unbiased (a good thing), go to ridiculous lengths to be 'fair' and so, in reporting factually on Trump, are leery of looking like they are biased against him. So they continue to 'sane wash' his increasingly unhinged/crazy/racist/misogynist/obscene ravings.
