The company was incorporated in 1998 and is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.

In case this date puzzles anybody, this is just the year that Berkshire reincorporated - what became known as OBH became NBH - or Old Berkshire Hathaway -> New Berkshire Hathaway.

There are still some old filings on Edgar from OBH
