Hi,
What does Signal, SMA and DBE mean? I see that Signal(7/5) is correlated with bull and bear. But don't know what the "S" in SMA stands for. MA is moving average, I think. DBE is not something i can figure out.
Thanks and apologize if this is something i should know or not ask?! This is not my bailiwick but am curious.

SMA short for Simple Moving Average Slope in this case 200 day
DBE Dying Bullish Euphoria
The third signal is Nasdaq NH-NL (a weighted sum of daily new highs minis new lows)

These are U.S. stock market timing signals. SMA is a simple moving average (in contrast to EMA which is an exponential moving average). DBE is a market top detector (based on the idea that most actionable major market tops are rounded, with plenty of time to get out before the big drop). Timing signals generally do not add to return, but are intended to limit risk.
