The republican-led House of Representatives was historically unproductive, passing just 27 bills that were signed into law by president Biden.

Among the bills passed this year:

--250th Anniversary of the United States Marine Corps Commemorative Coin Act

--Naming the clinic of the Veterans Affairs Department in Indian River, Mich., the Pfc. Justin T. Paton Department of Veterans Affairs Clinic

--Naming the clinic of the Veterans Affairs Department in Gallup, N.M., the Hiroshi "Hershey" Miyamura V.A. Clinic

--Duck Stamp Modernization Act of 2023

Plus, several stop-gap spending bills were passed.

Bottomline: republicans prove they cannot govern when they have the majority.

What the $%#%?!

Zero attempts at fixing the "wide open border!?"

It's almost as if MAGA doesn't want to fix the problem...

As an aside..........I went to high school with Paul Simon and Art Garfunkle. They were a year ahead of me, and went by Tom and Jerry at that point. They had a locally popular song at that time. "Hey, schoolgirl in the second row. We have to whisper way down low."

As an aside to your aside : ) I was in a record store in the late 60's and saw a Simon and Garfunkel album I had never heard of. Got it home, played it and found it was an old Tom and Jerry album and they had just changed the cover because Simon and Garfunkel had become famous. Man, that was a bad album.

Finally had a chance to listen to it today!!! What a total treat......I can't thank you enough for finding that. So very thoughtful of you.

It was an amazing sensation, hearing that for the first time since I was 15!
