Trump's favorability rating remains surprisingly high. IOW, few people really pay attention.

Overall, Reuters said, the poll showed 45% of Americans approve of Trump’s performance as president, down slightly from 47% a week before.

His disapproval rate was slightly larger at 46% – an increase from 39% the week before.

Probably the better number to pay attention to. There will always be a floor of magats, but as the rest of the peripheral support comes to realize that prices of goods do not bend to a president's will and that the border is really a rallying call for racism and exclusion, some of these will be gradually peeled off.
