1. Are you ignorant of europe's "free speech" laws?
2. Are you aware of them but support them?

Yes, I've been watching to see how well it works, and this is a good test. If the US drops down from one of the great democracies, then the euro way is better.

Incidentally, our Free Speech is derived from Europe. Jefferson was in Paris and very much paying attention to the Free Speech ideas/debates being discussed in Europe. He wrote to Madison requesting it be incorporated into the Constitution, and it became part of the First Amendment. I've been thinking for some time that we may need to curb disinformation and hate speech, and watching how well those limitations work. They do seem to work.
