Progs/Dems/Libs don't understand the big picture. They think Trump's seemingly erratic, ever-changing negotiation strategies in various contexts (including tariffs) aren't purposeful. One major purpose is to show our geopolitical adversaries is that we have a President who is more than willing to use whatever levers he has available to try to gain an advantage for America and the American people. Yet, Trump is a realist, and is also more than willing to take a series of small wins over time, rather than taking an outrageous position and being psychologically locked into it (as the Democrats now find themselves over the shutdown).
That's because they worshipped, in turn, an aged, white male, senile incompetent; and then his intended successor, a DEI prematurely-senile incompetent.
