MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico is flying migrants south away from the U.S. border and busing new arrivals away from its boundary with Guatemala to relieve pressure on its border cities. - Lapsody

Mexico is proving this assistance why and why now? Could it be that Obrador is doing what he can to take the heat off of Biden for the purpose of helping Biden beat Trump? That would be in Mexico's interest, Biden means more immigrants and more immigrants means that more money will be flowing South, to support their their families or to their cartel partners. Under Trump, some of that money train is more likely to be disrupted.

I admit this is speculative, but if not for the money train, why is Obrador suddenly giving Biden this support? What is in it for him?

For me, ascertaining motives is an important part of parsing and assessing the veracity of the snake oil pitch that someone is giving.
