As a Hoosier, I think the Indiana Senate looked at recent off year and special elections and said that it was better to have 2 for sure Democratic seats than possibly 4 or 5 if Trump keeps endorsing Republicans.

That's what you guys don't seem to get--it would have been just as "good news for democracy" if the vote to redistrict Indiana had come out opposed to your preferred outcome, because the democratic process was equally followed, either way.
You guys are very confused. "Democracy" isn't just a vote that comes out the way you want it to.
That is actually "totalitarianism."
