What's right? Restrictions on violent criminals, age restrictions, mental health restrictions including some form of red flag process, to name a few.
The point is Republicans do not favor "no laws or restrictions on guns whatsoever" as Jeff the authority figure claims.

Noooo. We can find people arguing that accusations from the wife will strip them of their guns based solely on the wife's or GF's statements. Age restrictions should be much lower or not exist because there were none in 1789. Mental health is ambiguous and people can be denied guns based on social worker's assessments instead of a pro. Red flags are violations of basic rights, even though they seem to work in Florida. Y'all can't agree on anything but if a lib suggests it, it's wrong. :)

Yes, I've read about it. IN fact there's a brisk trade with weapons being bought down south, moved to the north and sold there for extra $.
The Suicide Belt is out West in the high desert plains country.
We are very stupid when it comes to kids with firearms. Have you ever had a baby grab your finger tightly? They have one helluva grip, and they can easily come up with 5 lbs trigger pressure to pull a trigger. We need to start putting people in jail for at least 30 days for leaving their guns out. Just don't make them felons.
I know it gets me in trouble, but I've advocated for some time giving a tax credit for poor people for gun safes, along with a mandate (some exceptions), and working with Civic Groups to get guns safes everywhere. Make it part of reshaping people's thinking about gun safety. Bombard them with gun safety and make low kid deaths a point of civic pride.
