" Parents in Oklahoma are battling over a new curriculum.
What’s happening? New state social studies standards include teaching high-schoolers that there were “discrepancies” in the 2020 presidential election — which isn’t true.
The fight: A judge heard arguments in a lawsuit this week and could block the curriculum. Some parents are circulating opt-out forms to remove children from lessons."
SO< I looked up the definition of discrepancy, " The term "discrepancy" refers to the quality or state of disagreeing or being at variance. It indicates a difference or divergence between two or more things that should be the same, often implying a significant difference. For example, there may be a discrepancy between two accounts of an event, meaning they do not match or agree. It is important to note that "discrepancy" is sometimes confused with "disparity," which refers to a larger difference between measurable things.
Merriam Webster"

I wonder what the really smart posters think?
