Translation: there is NO end game plan here other than wishes, hopes, and "thoughts and prayers".

There is a plan, just as the Bush junta had a plan; take other people's oil production off the market, so big oil makes a lot more profit on what it produces. US big oil stands to profit a lot more now. The US is a net exporter of oil, and controls access to export markets for most Canadian oil, *and*, now, also controls Venezuelan oil access to export markets. So much lovely money to be made!
