Just anecdotal.

I lease a car through my biz and I'm renewing atm as the 3 years is up. BYD has burst onto the scene with lots of special deals (first time I've seen them) there's a lot of anti China sentiment in the press about the Chinese trying to dominate the European car market with their new EVs, subsidized prices etc. There's no deals on Teslas like there was a few years ago. I've not driven a BYD car but I'm quite intrigued and may take one for a test drive sometime if I can find an outlet.
