I warned you people. Don't say I didn't.
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2025/08/06...https://abcnews.go.com/US/trump-administration-con...During her nine hours speaking with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche last month, Ghislaine Maxwell said nothing during the interview that would be harmful to President Donald Trump, telling Blanche that Trump had never done anything in her presence that would have caused concern, according to sources familiar with what Maxwell said.
The Trump administration, meanwhile, is considering publicly releasing the transcripts from the interview, multiple sources familiar with the internal discussions told ABC News.Yes. And there you go.

Warned them about what? No one here expected Maxwell to say anything other than that.
Most of the folks here were convinced that the fix was in - that the whole point of the interview was to get Maxwell to unequivocally state that Trump was blameless, in exchange for getting some benefit for herself. Either better terms for her confinement (which has already happened), or even a pardon or commutation.
And then there's me - who believes that Trump's real political liability is not that there's anything in the files showing he's done anything wrong, but the fact that there's nothing in the files to document that anyone other than Epstein and Maxwell did anything wrong. Which will enrage his base as much as, or even more than, if there was some slightly embarrassing stuff relating to Trump himself.

Yes. And there you go.
Exactly what we expected. The fix is in.
But why won’t the government release the tapes of that interview if it exonerates Trump? The tapes, unedited and free from tampering. Not the transcript

Huh? Every other thread is them salivating over Trump being implicated with Epstein. That was an outright fantasy on their part, but whatever.

Enrage his base? I don't think this issue is getting the traction that people here and in the media think it is.

Tails you win, heads they lose. What a great system.

And riddle me this, Joker.
Why was Maxwell immediately moved to a lower security Club Fed facility after her “interview” that exonerates Trump?

That does seem to be the game Trump is playing.

But don’t worry Dope. Trump, Bondi, Patel et al are meeting tonight at JD Vance’s house tonight to get their stories straight (a unified message is what they are calling it. I’m sure they will come out tomorrow with that unified message which they hope will quiet the storm.
Perhaps you even gave us a preview.

No one thought Maxwell would implicate Trump with Epstein. OMG, why on earth would she ever do that? It's literally the worst thing she could possibly do at this point. She's been given a golden opportunity to get something out of this - the only way to screw that up would be to become a danger to Trump, rather than a help. Even if she had witness him doing unspeakable things, the only correct thing for her to do would be to pull a Sgt. Schultz.

MTG isn't making noises about how disappointed she is with the GOP over nothing. The base wants the Administration to deliver the goods of all the horrible pedophile crimes that TPTB have been doing for decades, and which were covered up by the corrupt Deep State. And they are sending that message to their electeds. MTG's hearing it from her people, and telling folks that she's hearing it from her people. Which is why subpoenas over the Epstein files were able to get out of the House Oversight Committee - three Republicans crossed the party line to vote with all the Democrats to issue those subpoenas, even while Johnson was trying to put a lid on the whole thing. That's not pressure that comes from the media or people like posters here - that's coming from inside the party.
His base isn't buying the claims that Trump himself is a pedophile, but they're certainly mad that the Administration hasn't revealed all the terrible secrets that are concealed in the Epstein Files.

Quid pro quo.
She didn't have to talk to the investigators. At all. What for? She's serving time. So she asked to get moved to the country club where the celebrities who evade taxes and what not get locked up.
To you, that of course meansheliedandTrumpisapedocoverupcoverupwatergatelyingsatanhitler.
To the rest of us: she made a deal.
I'm sorry your latest gambit failed, hard. <--- Actually I'm lying here

Dope is the Charlie Brown of this board.
No matter how many times Albaby, er, I mean Lucy pulls the football away from him and Charlie Brown lands on his back looking at the sky wondering what happened, Charlie keeps coming back for more.
As the old saying goes, "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

And that's not my fault.

Wow. All entire RWNJ facilities missed the key fact.
Maxwell would NEVER say something to incriminate Spankee because THAT would get her the same "suicide" treatment as Epstein.
The entire bunch of clueless RWNJ morons couldn't buy a clue in Clue.

Considering what she was convicted of, I doubt that anything she saw anyone doing would concern her. Very poor questioning which makes me wonder why the question???

Dope1: I warned you people. Don't say I didn't.
So a convicted child sex trafficker with a history of lying under oath said a civilly adjudicated sex abuser with the power to commute her sentence and release her from prison never did anything concerning around her.
Huh.
Well, I guess that settles that.
Next up for Maxwell: a pardon and a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Don't throw your arm out patting yourself on the back for your keen insight.

Nobody with half a brain expected anything else. Not that Trump would be found guiltless but that the fix was in. You would have to be a Dope not to see how this was going. Trump's personal attorney interviews Maxwell. She immediately gets moved to Club Fed. Trump hints at a pardon.
How Dopey do you have to believe that this exculpates Trump?
Everyone knows he's a pedo.
But clearly this will suffice to give MAGA Dopes cover to declare Dear Leader pure as the driven snow.

Define Quid Pro Quo:
Ghislaine Maxwell, who is hoping Donald Trump will pardon her,
told Trump’s deputy attorney general, who is also his PERSONAL LAYWER,
that she didn't see Trump do anything that would "cause her concern"...
and was promptly moved to a minimum security Club-Fed facility.
MAGA: "Where does Trump go for his apology?!"
LOL!

Only a Dope would see this as exonerating Trump.

You don't have to warn us that you are going to say something completely off base that is devoid of reality and rational thinking. We are used to it by now.

as expected, MAGA here would not be doing well relying on their common sense rather than a lawyer.
when politicians that were happy to ignore you suddenly send you to a FRIENDLIER prison with LOWER security, most people would get it.
even their closest crimebuddy's earthly departure doesnt seem to send a spark of thought.
gop could care less what maxwell actually knows, only what she produces.
