...Rep Smug, your actions in the last two months have solidified my not only voting against you for the foreseeable future, but ensured my enthusiastic support that you be primaried. Not primaried in the typical sense of being challenged by someone further to the right, but instead by the more moderate candidates who will be inexorably emerging nationwide in defense of our Republic and our Constitution.
You and the other knee-jerk MAGA Republicans are on the wrong side of history – but, more to the immediate point, you will be far to the right of public sentiment come June 2027. Barring a prompt and significant change in your voting patterns and public remarks, I will support to the limit of my resources any more reasonable candidate who presents themselves.
It will take moral courage to break. It will be the right thing to do.
And, it will become progressively evident that it will be necessary for your political survival.
Enough of this nonsense. It is past time for you to man up, and to do the job you were elected to do.
