-trying to get out of the line of fire

-offering up Greg Bovino to take the hit (then putting him out to pasture with a hearty “Atta Boy!” and pension)

- letting the furor die down.

This is neither concilliation or accountability.

This is merely strategic redeployment.

This is designed to give the Chuck Schumers of the world the cover they need to abandon their brief show of courage after the latest ICE murder in Minneapolis.

This is all about lulling us into complacency before unveiling their next, even more brutal chapter of fascist consolidation.

Blaming a "rogue underling". That is what "JCs" do. That tactic has kept Jamie Dimon out of prison for years, while running a criminal enterprise.
