Very hard to see how Trump's Venezuela clusterfck is going to work out well for Making America Great Again.

It is good for the donor class. Someone questioned my reasoning, as rising gas prices would be assumed to be bad for his nibs' poll numbers. Bush and Cheney, both closely associated with the oil industry, certainly understood what would happen if they invaded Iraq, and knocked that country's production off line. Clearly, the ease and comfort of the oil industry is more important to the ruling class than Proles paying record high prices for gas.

Chart of average US gas prices, since the mid 90s. Bush regime did not give a fig about the impact of their wars on Proles. I expect even less care on the part of the Pirate King.
