And the right wonders why we’re so insistent that the government release the Epstein files….
For months, this was the number one demand coming for the right- Release the Epstein Files! Don Jr. helped his father ride back to the White House on the shoulders of that demand, “Release the Epstein Files!”
These are the same people who said Obama was born in Kenya, Biden stole the 2020 election and Sandy Hook was merely a play enacted by “crisis actors”…… so we didn’t give the Epstein files much credence until………
Well…. Until they came to power and did everything in their power to suppress the Epstein files.
Speaking only for my own impressions, that seemed to be the thing that woke us up to the fact that there might be something here that the right wing was desperate to suppress.
And the thing that cinched it for me came here on this board.
For months, the right wing (or at least their more vocal members) accused the left of covering up for pedophiles.
“Release the Epstein Files!” they screamed.
And then they stopped on a dime.

And now, coming from these very same people, it’s “The left is preoccupied with sex!”

Well, we now probably have the answer as to why Biden kept a lid on things.
1. There's nothing at all inculpatory of Trump. Nothing. At most it sounds like Epstein was floating the idea of blackmailing Trump or making false accusations, to other people he thought would be receptive to that sort of scheme. In return for--what? A pardon from Obama?
2. 2014 Email chain with Kathryn Ruemmler and Epstein. She was Obama's White House Counsel. She refers to the "boss" multiple times and she seemed perfectly happy to be consorting over email with a sex offender.
