Subject: Possibly helpful workaround for faster Wise xfers

I discovered recently that if I send directly from my Wise $USD balance to EUR in my Portuguese bank account, it can take quite a while - they were quoting an expected 7 days to transfer $11K. But converting from USD -> EUR inside Wise itself, and then sending EUR, was handled as what I think is called an "instant transfer" and arrived literally within seconds.

As a tiny bonus, the conversion fee charged by Wise was about 5% cheaper going this route. But the speed was the nice part. With my visa appt. coming up next week, I needed the account funded to the required level by then.
