I’m honestly curious…

Would anyone who fundamentally supports DT be willing to offer some things they don’t like about his policies or viewpoints, or anything that seems like “going too far”?

OR, someone who fundamentally opposes DT, be willing to offer some policies or achievements that they think are worthy of praise or commendation?

Great question. I'm in the anti-Trump camp, and I thought about it, but truly can't come
up with anything that he's done that I support. And I will benefit by the added tax deduction
gifted to 65+, come next April. This gift kicks the national debt problem to the future, because
it will most definitely add to the national debt. So I don't even like the stuff that's
going to put money in my bank account.

I look forward to reading the responses to your question, maybe someone in the anti-Trump
camp can enlighten me. Sorry I had nothing to add.

I'll try.

I approve of his eating habits. They're terrible for long term health.

I like how Trump looks out for rich people like me!
I like how Trumps Bill will take billions of dollars of government support away from his supporters who depend on it...and give it to rich folks like me!
I like that my wealthy heirs will not be taxed on $30 million in inheritance.
I like that Trump has sold tens of millions of dollars of worthless crypto to his low-information supporters...that made me laugh!
I like that the long-term effects of Trump's policies are projected to translate into an 8% reduction in US GPD, a two-year loss in average life expectancy,
and hundreds of thousands of deaths in the developing world annually.
I like how Trump sold $65 made in China "Trump Bibles" to his low-information supporters...that made me laugh!
I like how Trump has shown that anyone, even a rapist/Epstien-lister can be President Of The United States!
Anyway you look at it, Trumps presidency has had something for everyone...
and when I say "everyone", I do NOT mean everyone, I mean rich people!

Every commendable I've got gets completely overshadowed and killed by accompanying horrific and harmful policies.

For instance, stopping the influx of people across the border, gets overshadowed by:

1. Lying that we're being invaded by criminals, rapists, and gang members to justify an emergency condition that requires armed invasion.
2. Moving the military onto the border, using them as police in areas.
3. Deporting good honest people because they are easier to find than the actual criminals, rapists, and gang members.
4. Deporting good people who've been here for fifty years due to a bureaucratic blemish or less. If they're relatively clean and been here for
fifty years just make them a citizen and move on.
5. Creating a Gulag and deporting people without meaningful due process to third countries or to jails without any crimes.
6. Treating due process like it isn't a fundamental right for everyone, only whites with money can have due process.
7. Weaponizing laws meant to help us deport people who stole identities to get here (former Nazis), and using them to go after political enemies.
8. Being inhumane to people and that seems to be the message.

I hope this illustrates the point.

Another thing I'll commend Trump on is this:
He calls people funny names when his dementia riddled mind can remember the persons actual name, making America the laughing stock of the world, which is quite an achievement!

Example: Trump, during a Fox News interview, referred to Japan’s Prime Minister as "Mr Japan", forgetting his real name, Shigeru Ishiba.
The moment happened while Trump was talking about tariffs on Japanese cars. Within hours, the clip exploded online, flooding X and TikTok with memes and reactions.

Example: Trump called Apple CEO Tim Cook "Tim Apple" during a meeting at the White House. The incident was widely reported and confirmed by video footage, where Trump said, "We appreciate it very much, Tim Apple" while addressing Cook.

Worst kept secret in Washington DC:

Trump’s staff is covering up his rapidly declining cognitive function and the onset of dementia (which runs in his family).

To be fair, that applies to 90% of his cabinet as well.

Well, I think it is a good thing that the other NATO countries are now contributing more of their GDP to defense than before Trump came on the scene. Of course, that's mainly because they see Trump as fundamentally unreliable as a NATO ally, so there's that countervailing effect.

I’ll post something longer about the tariffs as an item I disagreed with.

Another thing is flaming the Fed chair - again, when I have more time I’ll expound on that.

It’s really not that hard to think outside your own perspective. Shame more people on here can’t do that.

Is that 90% of the cabinet is taking part in the cover up?

or

Is that 90% of the cabinet also are suffering with dementia?

It could be both too.

LOL..made me laugh you trying to equate President Trump to dementia Biden.
Everyone knows better, even you but your Party Leaders dictate to you and the left
what your buzz words are to be repeated for the week.

I luv it when FOXNews plays a montage of left wing news broadcasters all repeating the
same dictated message for the week.

This weeks buzz words to be repeated by the left is dementia Trump. Too funny.

Trump’s cognitive decline is actually worse than Biden’s.

That fact is confirmed every day…… by simply listening to what he says or what he writes.

The man is a walking, talking example of what happens when milk stays on the shelf till long past its “sell by” date.

At least Biden finally realized he was no longer up for the job. Trump never will.

Nah, it’s the dem’s latest buzz words. They won’t stick.

Trump does not have the gift of gab as does Obama. Far from it. Trump rambles a lot, it is a failing of his, but his mind is sharp and always a step or two ahead of the left.
President Trump’s continued successes is proof enough and is actually driving the left into cognitive decline babbling their buzz words nonsense.

The problem, LM, is that Trump thinks exactly like a snake. And Democrats haven't caught up to that fact yet. They simply cannot believe that the President of the United States thinks and acts like a snake. Surely he is open to reason!..... Surely he will not destroy the guardrails!...... Surely he will abide by the treaties and promises he makes! Surely he won't deport peaceful immigrants simply living their lives and working hard! Surely he won't touch Medicaid!

That parable of the woman who brings home a snake that he always told during his first term?

Little did we know that he was talking about himself.

"Well, I think it is a good thing that the other NATO countries are now contributing more of their GDP to defense than before Trump came on the scene"

Have to admit, I agree with that. I will give Trump credit for forcing NATO Countries to
kick in more for their defense, assuming that is what is happening. I hate the way he
handled it, he alienated our Allies in the process. And in fairness to the Euro Countries,
the USA has always wanted to keep Countries like Germany from becoming strong militarily, after the devastation of WWII, so it seems like we tacitly approved of that NATO status quo for all
of these decades.

We will see how it all works out, though. China is on the same landmass as Europe ( yeah, I know
it's considered 2 different continents ), and a Euro-China partnership looks like it'd be
a pretty potent alignment. Did Trump drive the Euro's towards China ? Time will tell.

Don’t forget Russia in that scenario.

Russia speaks longingly about what it sees as its historic destiny to control the “Eurasian landmass”. The fact that geographers artificially divide it into two continents doesn’t ring many bells in Moscow. In Russia, “Europe” is more a cultural than geographic term.

Beijing is very much aware of Russia’s designs on its backyard. In fact, China has evidenced its own expansionist interests in Asia from time to time.

The current rapprochement between Russia and China is an arrangement of convenience and is temporary. Don’t expect it to crumble in the short term, but eventually the mutually exclusive national interests of these two countries will reassert themselves.

Too many centuries of bad blood between them. Each poses to the other an existential threat, and in spite of the smiles and raised toasts to arms deals, neither country forgets that.

If Russia or China ever went to was with the United States, either of these countries would have to factor in the possibility of being “stabbed in the back” by the other.

Paradoxically, that is one factor that contributes to keeping the peace.
