Google will release earnings on Oct 24th - with the recent run up its probably safe to assume expectations are high.

My simple minded forecast is for $76B in revenue with $1.45 of earnings - my guess is that this below what the market is expecting.

BTW: A similar simple model suggests a fair range of value between $125 and $145 - so its at the upper end of that range. If earnings come in as expected; my new 3-6 month range would jump to $145- $175.

Appreciate your thoughts. I have picked up a few shares in the last year as a bit of a diversification play.

I really haven't put much thought into how to value it. Googled products are the second most prevalent in my daily usage (browser, search, sheets) after Apple. The little software company my wife works for is full Google Workspace. I also have school aged children and the screen time usage they are allowed is dominated by YouTube. Netflix is barely an afterthought to them.

Seems like decent indicators to me :)

$76.693 and $1.55. Pretty close.

The core business seems to be humming just fine (I guess TikTok didn't kill YouTube), even if the market was looking for something different.

I de-leveraged my DITM options into stock when this hit the high $130s. May begin adding to my position soon if the drop continues.
