Last night governor Kristi Noem chose not to apologize or say she was wrong (bonus points in TrumpWorld) but explained to Sean Hannity why she murdered her puppy and tossed her in a gravel pit. She said that the puppy, in fact, was a working dog that was a danger to her family, livestock, and just about everyone else. She also suggested that her action demonstrates that she can make the difficult decisions necessary in higher office.
And in true Trumpian form, she blamed the media (more bonus points in TrumpWorld): "You know how the fake news works. They leave out some or most of the facts of the story. They put the worst spin on it."
Therefore, I now think that rather than Vance, Noem is the man, err, woman, for the job of Trump Veep.
Please, please, please, please, please.

Pssst Kristi: Pluck off babies.
Not Dogs.
More of America will love you then.
Disclosure: Not a fan of this pick before Doggy-Gate, and certainly not one now - but the dog thing has nothing to do with it. There's MORE distractions under the surface here. No further comment

Yup. She has affair and other problems. It won't be her.
Plenty of other great choices. I would like to see a sitting GOP governor in that slot.

Dope1: She has affair...
Well, then she fits right in with Orange Jesus, the multiple philanderer.
Dope1: I would like to see a sitting GOP governor in that slot.
That leaves one choice: Doug Burgum.
Huckleberry said she's out, DeSantis told donors he's out, so who else is there? Kim Reynolds?

I'm not as up to speed on current politicians but who? I always thought Kemp of Georgia might be one the Establishment sticks on the ballot at the last second of needed. BUT whether Trump wins or loses, the fight for 2028 starts about a few seconds after the election is called, if not earlier and maybe Kemp is waiting till this stuff clears out.
Not saying I like him, or don't like him - just saying - formidable.
Right now, I feel it's Sticky Nikki Haley.
I respect you like her.
But man -why not just put Liz Cheney on the ticket. Or really cut out the middle man - just let the Likud Party select the President.

I'd rather it not be Haley. It doens't take much to fail during the process of getting a VP slot and the way she kept running her campaign as well as refusing to endorse turned me off. So she's a no.
Glenn Youngkin. He's term limited and popular enough in VA to put it in play (you'd know better than me there).

Nice pick!
Virginia in play plus the Establishment / Google Jockey wing of the party is ok with him.
Hopefully my Sticky Nikki fear is just my imagination.

Who else? The choice is obvious. Governor Greg Abbott. Trump can then designate Abbott as his Border Czar. I'll bet Abbott will get better results than Kamala. Any takers?

I'd rather go with somebody from a blue-ish state since Trump is going to win Texas going away, but just in terms of being able to kick ass at the job, Abbott would be fantastic pick also.

Who else? The choice is obvious. Governor Greg Abbott. And a great choice it is considering that Abbott has one of the worst net approval ratings of any governor at +4.0 percent (and an average disapproval rating of 42.8%). Only Tate Reeves has a worse average disapproval rating.
So, yeah, sounds good to me.

Even better, then Trump can make Abbott his DHS secretary.

BURGUM....
Ok, so he won't out-shine Trump and Trump likes that.
BUT.....MAN, KAMALA would slice and dice him good.
