he should be the happiest guy in the world. he’s led a positively charmed life. he’s grifted billions of dollars from his adoring cultists. he’s escaped accountability for almost every crime he’s ever committed. he’s the president of an entire country, and he has his own personal Supreme Court to declare him a Very Special Boy Who Can Continue Criming Forever. every single day of his life, he gets away with shit no one else does.

Where's the fukcing outrage from the press? This is unacceptable language from a POTUS. Oh, that's right, Donny is a very special boy who can do or say whatever the hell he wants and no one in power or the media in the U.S. gives a rat's ass as America slips into despotism and shithole county territory.

He’s soulless but he’s not really angry. The anger is performative. It works for him. It always has. He’s the ultimate rage bait machine. He generates rage on both sides of the political spectrum, and we’re trapped by it as much as his cult.

Yes, he is a soulless POS, but I do think much of his anger is real. He is a bottomless pit of neediness and he will never get all that he wants. He desperately wants to be the ultimate 'winner' and to destroy all critics and competitors.

Trump's acting chops came from the McMahons WWE shows. He's adapted the kayfabe from WWE to political theater very successfully.
The kayfabe identifies a babyface (wonderful great TRUMP) , a heel (baddie), and a theme. The babyface's script is designed to encourage audience participation booing the enemy heel. Trump's heels are famously journalists (boooo), lunatic liberals (boooo), people from shitholes (boooo), etc.
He doesn't have to make sense in his performances. He just needs to hit his punch lines; lunatics...garbage... piggy...communists... and the audience does its part: "Booooooooo." And they vote based on the emotion they were trained to have.

Media. Specifically, Faux Noise, Alex Jones, OANN, and many more. They project anger, and publish stories designed to elicit anger (either through exaggeration or actual lies like PizzaGate). The RW media -especially- stokes that anger deliberately. Some LW outlets do, also, but not nearly as blatantly (or, frankly, not nearly as well).

Politics ought to be relatively common, boring and well-intentioned. The 'hair on fire' politics popularized by the like of Wally George, Limbaguh, Fox et al isn't popular with educated people/liberals.
An average joe, liberal writers who post misinfromation pisses me off just as much as RW misinformation.
Note that few liberal pundits attain huge media success as do RW pundits.
It's much easier to produce and sell 'hair on fire' lies, partisan attacks and 'culture war.'
Fact-based liberal programming just isn't amusing. Politics shouldn't be amusing. It should just be creating good policy.
