I find a lot of your performative gestures baffling, and I usually ignore them. But this one, I just don't understand. Who is this for? Why would there be daily updates on WaPo subscription rates? That's not information they announce daily...

I find it easier just to ask. I honestly don't understand the reasoning behind this particular aspect of your performative posting. Most of it I can figure out - the vector that you're trying to get a reaction on is pretty clear. But this specific ideation puzzles me. You're obviously doing it for some reason, so I thought I'd ask why.
